The Basic Gang class was developed for persons that have limited gang knowledge. The basic gang class will be divided into several important topics, that will serve as the foundation of understanding gangs, which will prepare the attendee to successfully understand gangs and a gang members mindset.

BASIC GANG CLASS TOPICS INCLUDE

  • Hispanic gangs
  • Black gangs
  • White gangs
  • Tribal gangs
  • Hybrid gangs
  • Gang Graffiti
  • Handsigns
  • Tattoo recognition
  • Gang member mindset

Each instructor will include examples of hand signs, clothing, graffiti and information which is timely, current and actionable.

Although the class is titled as a Basic class, any person will benefit from attending on Monday, to include experienced investigators, since gang trends change often and rapidly.
